Dank Patrik (Magdalena’s Freund), der beim Koralmtrial am malerischen Tabakscheucherhof gefilmt und die Clips auf Youtube gestellt hat, können wir zum Glück für alle Interessierten hier die Läufe von Darla, Freni und Aslan zeigen.

Leider haben wir nur die Läufe vom Sonntag auf Film, wo leider Freni und Darla im Gegensatz zum Samstag nicht über den Sheddingring hinausgekommen sind. Aber immerhin haben wir überhaupt Anschauungsmaterial! Vielen Dank an Patrik und Magdalena!

Here are some video-clips of our dogs at the Koralmtrial. For all those not familiar with our trial classes:

Class 2 is like open class on a slightly smaller scale. In the case of Darla`s and Freni`s run you can actually stop watching once the sheep reach the shedding ring, as we didn`t manage the shed on this day! (We did on Saturday, but of course we don`t have a video of those runs!) Freni is a bit on the fast side, I`m afraid, she can work much nicer in training but gets quite nervous at trials!!

Class 1 has no shedding, but only something called “stabilizing” in the shedding ring- the sheep have to stop and you have to be able to send the dog to the other side of the shedding ring without moving the sheep. The drive is “assisted”: The handler can walk behind the dog to the first drive gate and then get in front of the sheep on the way to the second drive gate.

Hier ein paar Bilder von unserem wochenendlichen Besuch bei den Celtic/Zony/Gyp-Urenkeln, den B`s vom Sonnigen Garten:

Hunde auf den Fotos: 1. Celtic (schaut nur so dick aus! er ist ganz schlank und rank- das macht die Perspektive) mit Urenkel, 2. Aslan, Flyte, Freni, 3. Julie, Freni, dann vier Fotos von kleinen sonnigen Gärten beim Posieren.
